Motion detect stays on if sending MD On and Off within 1 minute
When sending a motion detect On command and within the same minute a motion detect Off command, motion detect will stay on.
Motion detect notification received, but no motion visible on saved images?
The camera has a default sensitivity for motion detection, which in some cases causes false positives (e.g. when the camera is placed in direct sunlight and a cloud passes by the sun). Please also note that the slightest movement of the camera triggers a motion detect. Make sure the camera is well fixed and cannot move or be moved when interacting with the environment. Preferably mount the camera on a fixed surface using the enclosed screws and stand.
When restarting the gateway and/or the camera(s), the wifi connection between gateway and camera(s) is not reestablished
When the cameras are started before the gateway is completely online, the wifi connection between gateway and cameras will not be activated and cameras will not be registered. Be sure the gateway is completely booted before connecting the cameras to a power source.
When I want to see a live stream of my cameras, I regularly don't see anything or just a globe icon
In certain cases the connection between the portal site and your cameras isn't correctly established. However, you can still consult your images by reloading the pop-up with the F5 key or by closing it and reopen the stream. If that doesn't correct the problem, check if you have enough bandwidth for down- and upload on both sides of the connection.
I received a notification that motion was detected, but on the portal no images can be found
In some cases the gateway can't send images to the central server because of a connection error. The images are saved on the gateway were they remain but cannot be showed on the portal site. There is no work-around for this issue. Fifthplay development is still working on a fix.
